From 2017, undergraduate Veterinary Medicine UCD ( DN300) is a Restricted Course.
Students who have applied will receive an email from UCD advising how to submit information about their Practical Experience
60 hours or 2 weeks’ practical exprience relevant to animal handing or veterinary practice is now required.
This new initiative is to encourage prospective applicants to learn about the profession before applying.
It should increase applicants awareness of what the career entails and cement their determination to follow this path.
The closing date for submitting the details of Practical Experience will be 18th March of the year of application
